Mouse and the crow

Today while coming to office I saw a very unique thing.It could be used to teach use few life lessons.
On a very busy road I saw that a small mouse was being attacked by a Crow.This mouse was attacked just near the road.It was running and the crow was knocking it and trying to lift it and maybe take him for his lunch.But the mouse was determined to be free.It was determined to run from it.It just ran ahead and went into the busy road.The Crow tried to fly towards it but it became very cautious because the vehicles were really moving fast and it was a two way road.Which means that there was very less survival chance.It was like a edge of seat situation which was happening before me.

The mouse ran into a bike.Somehow it missed it by an inch.The very moment a large heavy vehicle was about to go over it.But to my surprise the mouse just managed to cross the street and ran away into the bushes.Maybe it was his destiny to survive or maybe it was his determination and zeal which helped him to survive.

I think even in our lives we are faced with situations which force us to bow down.Makes us feel suffocated still I think we have the power within us to see through it and come out of it.If the mouse gave up  and thought that it is anyways going to die either by falling prey to the crow or by the busy road traffic it would have lost the battle there itself.But the mouse took a call that if I got to survive the crow I need to take risks.There are limited chances of survival but at least it did not
succumb or bow down to his situation.Maybe this determination and risk taking capability came to his aid and divine forces joined hands to save him because they saw that here is a poor helpless mouse who knows it may not survive but till his last breath it used all its might to run away from the crow and also dodged two speedy vehicles which came from different sides.I think the freedom to excel to succeed lies in our own mind and it all depends how we face the situations which knock us down.Every such incident should propel us to move ahead.These incidents should be used as a fuel to enable us to move faster and with more vigour and determination towards our goal.


Plight of drivers

I often wonder about the guys who drive public transport vehicles.The guys who are driving vehicles face the challenge in being on the roads.They have to keep their focus and same time sustain their sanity in the extreme climate.Why there is no initiative which takes care of the truck drives,
rickshaw drives,taxi drives,tempo drives,bus drives.Why cant basic energy from sunlight be harvested into providing at least a comfortable driving condition to the drivers of these vehicles.vehicles. Dont they deserve a better life,don't they deserve a comfortable driving experience. Dont we think that if they have a comfortable and convenient driving experience our road
accidents would reduce.Health of drivers would improve.People talk about having solar and break re generation eco mode etc capabilities on to  luxurious brands.Why cant we study the safest vehicles of this world and incorporate those capabilities into our transport vehicles at a low cost.Even our commuters deserve a better road travel experience.

I have often seen vehicles stranded during rains due to problem in their spark plug or engine which
freezes in extreme rainy conditions. Off course there is improvisation but why this problem is
not solved permanently.

Why our top minds top engineers are not given  projects by our governments to study the best available technology globally and incorporate the same and improvised resolutions to our daily used vehicles at least to public transport vehicles.

Even today its not compulsory to have a reverse camera to school buses and public transport and heavy vehicles.So many lives are lost just due to lack of visibility while taking a reverse.Especially
in school buses..







Delightful customer experience

I recently ordered food from a restaurant.I ordered because the cost of the dishes listed on their menu was very less.I just wanted to checkout.To my surprise they sent me the order in a very short time.
The food was neatly packed.Best part was that it tasted really well.I thought maybe its just a particular experience so I should not judge the quality of food so soon.It ordered same dish again.
It was delivered on time.It tasted exactly same at it tasted earlier.The packing was also consistent.
I thought I need to be patient and not be impressed about the service so soon.I ordered some other dish the next time.It was also well packed,pricing was very economical and tasted well.I had never been to this restaurant in person.I had been ordering the food telephonic-ally.I thought why not I go there and myself see how they are able to deliver a quality service consistently. I have earlier experienced that any outlet of any kind you can very easily understand their end product by observing the attitude of all levels of people at that place.The manager, cashier,house keeping guy,waiter etc.I was greeted politely by the cashier.He did not waste time or display any lethargy.He punched the order,gave me the receipt.I got the food instantly.The person who prepared the food was cheerful.The person who delivered the food was cheerful.The moment I finished my table it got cleared.Each and every person at this restaurant was cheerful.Looking at the kitchen one can make out the systematic approach of working,cleanliness maintained.


I think any product any service has to be delivered,produced and made of the same quality consistently.Its not just the top leadership which defines the organization.Its also the people,process,culture,enthusiasm and attitude across the organization which defines an organizations success.Only that organization will sustain which values every customer who visits them.Every customer who is their client.If a culture of customer service is inculcated and if the service is consistently monitored,feedback's taken and improvised upon  nothing can stop that organization from being successful.Even market conditions will not define the destiny of such organizations.Such organizations redefine the market by consistently keeping  its customers delighted.

Small gestures leave a big impact


I recently visited a watch shop.This shop had brands like rado, tissot , diesel,fossil etc..
Initially I was hesitant to enter this shop.But within few minutes I was really comfortable
having a look at watches of various luxurious brands.The staff was very polite and humble.
They did not profile my social status before showing me the watches or explaining the features about these watches.Their differentiators etc.I think its very important to make the customer comfortable and at ease.They also provided guidance on the core capabilities of the watches I was interested in.They had very good knowledge about all the brands.They almost answered all my questions.

Same day I visited a small garment shop.The beauty of this shop is that every staff out here is very polite and aggressive. They will initially stick to understanding your requirement and slowly they will start recommending and up-selling.But in a very refined way.The moment one enters this shop one can feel the enthusiasm and positive energy.A person who enters this shop to buy a single product ends up buying 5 products.The quality of the products are good and also they are reasonably priced.
Even for very simple product they will explain you the advantages of it and also suggestions about trying another better product.

I had a very good experience at these shops.I bought the products from these shops not just because of the brands but because of the experience I had at these shops.How the staff catered to my requirement.How they spoke to me.How they answered my queries.The humility with which they
answered my concerns.And off course some aggression towards selling more..some aggression towards helping me to choose more products for me.I think the staff at both these shops were at ease and having fun at work.They were happy people.
